kind of

lost in space, as I await my session later today, Heard common core, teacher evaluation discussion on WNYC this morning (cooped in!) so many issues, frightening how something so gossamer as learning, so really hard to calculate is trying to be quantified completely. An endless quagmire or ideas or disciplines, as if a "one size fits all" theory could solve all education problems. Ah, the oppression!
One more day remains, from the looks of things now, I won't work, but will go in and pick up my check, maybe something will break, we will see---starting next week tutoring galore, I have added some new students--feel like I am being worked to the bone. But need the free night time, the trade off for not subbing, well, let's see how that works out today, as it does not appear that I will be carrying much tiredness with me this evening. Time to return to South Fourth for a little Karaoke, or maybe drop in at Cobra, I have not been there for a long time. A movie, possibly, a play, probably not, will have missed Mee's the Big Love, too bad, would have really liked to see it.
Yesterday, really tired after sessions, surprised, but why should I be after two live wires. Slept till about 10, woke up with my back really stiff, but seem to have worked through it--no problem now.
That's it, will try to make life interesting this evening.....
