Sunday morning...

didn't think that I would find myself in the Fordham Library at 10:00 A.M., but that is exactly where I am. Why? Got up early, read the News and had coffee, and at 8:15, all dressed up with no where to go. So, soon it was time to get on the 2 to 149 street, and then take a Concourse bus up to Fordham, and here I am. Some views about the Concourse: the area from 149 street to 166 street seems slightly gentrified, after that, the environment seems mostly working class with very few exceptions. Ofcourse, I may be wrong, but that was my perception.
Yesterday, a nice afternoon at South Fourth, had some interesting conversations, then bussed to Amalgamated Bank on Fulton near Bedford, then to Outpost, then to Vanderbuilt and a return to Plan B. How was it? Well, it (the weather, that is) was incredibly hot and humid; Plan B was friendly, but it still has an insiders vibe. A little annoyed when the Friday bartender sat down next to me, and, talking to the bartender, who is also the owner, described a coupling he had the night before just as he was closing up. I wonder if that's why I made a hasty exit, and left a "decent", but not great tip. Found myself incredibly tired, almost knocked out, but that did not prevent me from walking to Park Place, getting the Q, switching at Atlantic to the 3, and heading home. Fell asleep immediately, ofcours awoke, drenched in sweat at around 2P.M. Made it through the night, but very restless, that is why I am here. But revivied and exhilirated, (somewhat moderately) by the trip to the library, soon the Fringe will be here, and I will have more structure. Later.................
