last night....

did not turn out exactly as I expected. Hoped to go to Dive Bar to see my new bartender friend Rebecca, and watch baseball, but when I got there place was packed with screaming soccer fans, have to remember that while US women's group is playing, it will be hard to watch baseball (really amazing---shows one how much times and tastes have changed). Next game for US women is Friday; will be seeing David Greenspan's play that night, but should be over early, try to go to a bar or restaurant where at least one tv is watching baseball (la Flaca would be a good bet for that) .
A little crestfallen, having a bit of a sugar fit, I went to nearbye coffee place and had a blondie and some delicious coffee---then a bit confused as to next move---finally decided to check out a movie at Lincoln Plaza called Eden, it had gotten good reviews in the past week, so went. Found it interesting, but rather cold and uninvolving. Left slightly before the ending, then walked home (no bus) just to make sure energy was a bit depleted (it wasn't). Not a very deep sleep last night, but not tired now.
Today, this afternoon will attend reading of Steve A's play at Paradise Factory, looking forward to it, after that simply not sure of what I wlll do or where. Last night's movie was so impersonal that I am pretty turned off on going to another one, though Rubble Kings movie at 42nd street---the doc about gangs in the Bronx in the seventies is supposed to be good, and the kind of doc I find very interesting.
So maybe...but maybe not...
