annoying news....

about meeting re the needs of the people living near the Atlantic Yards site. Seems the powers that be are extremely unfeeling about the needs of the people living near the site. Sounds very sad. How do we invent two kinds of people, one aware and responsive to the needs of others, and another kind, just following marching orders no matter who it hurts. Sad.

Yesterday, decided not to see play at Here, watched a little baseball at Irish bar nearbye---then off to South Fourth to "hang" with Merlin; Bill and Allyson were also there, good to see them. Watched most of basketball game with one or two other denizens of the bar---god discussion about the game, left after L train closed down, took the 62 bus to third stop on 7 (i have done this before)---a fun trip as it goes through Greenpoint and into LIC. Old diner sits across from the subway station, would like to go in there at some time.

Today, will return to Friends after lesson in Brooklyn to see Spring Concert, then...? who knows. Too late to see a play..still have to figure out the plans for the next couple of days.

Not much else, still have to find a place to stay for my one night in Baltimore in two and a half weeks---don't get lazy about this, should be settled by the end of the week. That should be all for now, more to report soon....
